GUDE power solutions now supported by Crestron XiO Cloud

Seamless integration allows for enhanced control of AV technology

Effective immediately, GUDE’s premium Power Distribution Units (PDU) for AV installations are support by the Crestron XiO Cloud Technology Operations Management Platform. The switchable power strips from GUDE are known for its reliable and high-quality standard and Crestron is the market leader for media controls and AV monitoring. Together, GUDE and the Crestron cloud-based management platform can now deliver an easy and proactive operation of managing connected PDUs in AV systems.

As an official Crestron Technology Partner, the leading IP power strips of GUDE will be supported for XiO Cloud users without additional costs. These PDUs are “intelligent”, which means that they dispose of useful functions in addition to power distribution:

• remote power-cycling
• programmable switching routines
• sensor monitoring
• alarm functionality
• detailed power monitoring

Customers of the German quality supplier benefit from fast and simple integration of the smart PDUs in their professionally operated AV installations. At the same time, Crestron XiO Cloud platform in conjunction with the Expert Power Control products of GUDE lead to better protected devices, faster managed service and higher energy efficiency in any residential or enterprise AV environment.
