When using transfer switches or bypass switches, the focus is on switching to an alternative power supply. In this case, the connected devices are protected against downtimes by switching either manually or automatically to another supply line. The latter are therefore often referred to as Automatic Transfer Switches.
Protect your IT and AV installation with GUDE’s high-quality transfer switches. These bypass switches can be put into operation quickly, are easy to operate and have a reliable and fast switching functionality.
Automatic Transfer Switch
Transfer switches are devices that can switch to an alternative power supply line if necessary. The aim here is to increase redundancy so that a so-called single point of failure is avoided for the terminal devices to be operated. A distinction can be made between manual transfer switches (bypass switches) and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
With the Expert Transfer Switch, GUDE offers power distribution systems that provide adequate functionality for increasing the reliability and thus availability of existing IT equipment landscapes.
