Expert Power Control 8291-2 wins three industry awards in the USA

The new intelligent power strip Expert Power Control 8291-2 from Cologne-based manufacturer GUDE Systems has won several coveted awards in the AV industry in the USA in just a few weeks.

• The AC/DC Power Distribution Unit (PDU) receives the Best of Show Award from trade magazine Residential Systems at this year’s CEDIA trade fair in Denver. A team of judges evaluates the product based on the criteria of benefit, functionality, quality, and uniqueness on the market and presents the award on September 6, 2025, at the AV trade show.
• At the AV trade show InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, GUDE Systems receives a significant award on the first day of the show (June 17, 2025): The smart PDU gets the CI BEST Award from the US trade publication Commercial Integrator. The award recognizes the best products for the professional AV market in various categories each year. GUDE’s 21-port power solution is honored in the highly competitive category “Power Conditioning, Surge Suppression & Energy Solutions.”
• The Expert Power Control 8291-2 receives the Best of Show at InfoComm 2025 award from the US magazine AV Technology on the second day of InfoComm (June 18, 2025). The intelligent AC/DC power strip impresses the jury of the American AV trade magazine across the board with its extensive performance features.

Expert Power Control 8291-2 was designed for professional AV use and, like all GUDE products, is developed and manufactured entirely in Germany. The intelligent power strip has 4 switchable AC and 17 switchable DC outputs. In addition to numerous control and safety functions, the PDU offers precise current measurement for the DC connections at the output level.
