The SNMP card allows connected systems to be shut down in a controlled manner in the event of a power failure. This prevents data loss and system inconsistencies. In addition, automatic UPS shutdowns, restarts, and scheduled battery tests can be configured.
All events, warnings, and system messages are stored in the internal flash memory—even in the event of a power failure, without any loss of data. Event and data logs can be exported or automatically transferred to external servers.

The Expert Power Backup SNMP Card 7811 expands the Expert Power Backup 8810 with professional, network-based UPS management (uninterruptible power supply). Real-time data on input, output, battery, load status, and system status is centrally monitored, documented, and controlled via SNMP v1/v2c/v3, HTTPS, and SSH. This makes the power supply solution ideal for server rooms, data centers, AV or IT racks, and industrial installations where the resilience of business-critical infrastructures needs to be increased.
The network card is integrated directly via the dedicated SNMP slot of the online UPS. Once connected to the network, it is available in the browser-based web interface. Events such as power failure, battery operation, or malfunctions are logged seamlessly and can be reported automatically via SNMP trap or email. The Expert Power Backup SNMP Card 7811 supports access control lists (ACL), encrypted communication, and CA certificate upload for HTTPS. Modbus TCP enables integration into industrial control and monitoring systems.
The Expert Power Backup SNMP Card 7811 ensures operational reliability and fast response times in professional IT and AV networks. It is therefore a powerful addition to the Expert Power Backup 8810 series.
