GUDE Systems introduces cloud-based solution for centralized Power Management

With the GUDE Power Cloud, GUDE Systems GmbH expands its portfolio with a cloud-based platform for the centralized management and monitoring of intelligent power distribution units. The Cologne-based manufacturer of Power Distribution Units (PDUs) now offers a complementary solution to its products used by professional IT and AV (Audio/Video) managers.

The GUDE Power Cloud enables users to control and monitor compatible GUDE PDUs through a unified interface. Users gain a consolidated overview of the operational status of their power infrastructure – regardless of location. Distributed infrastructures can thus be operated efficiently across multiple sites.

Access to the platform is browser-based via any internet-enabled PC. Communication is end-to-end encrypted. In addition, the GUDE Power Cloud is designed to be GDPR-compliant and is hosted on servers within the EU. After registration, compatible devices can be integrated and centrally managed in just a few steps. Customers can choose between 1-, 3-, or 5-year subscription terms.

In addition to the remote switching of individual outlets, the platform provides functions for the display of electrical measurement values. A particular focus is placed on transparency and operational reliability: status- and event-based notifications provide early alerts in case of irregularities, while graphical analyses of relevant performance data support the analysis and optimization of energy usage.

The solution is particularly suitable for professional AV installations, IT infrastructures, as well as companies and educational institutions with multiple locations seeking centralized power management.

With the introduction of the GUDE Power Cloud, GUDE continues to expand its ecosystem around intelligent power management, complementing its hardware solutions developed and manufactured in Germany with a scalable, cloud-based management layer.
