GUDEs Power Distribution Units now compatible with Biamp Project Designer

GUDE Systems’ intelligent power distribution units (PDUs) can now be integrated directly into the Biamp Control System Project Designer. This is made possible by newly released drivers from Biamp that support communication with our devices via both the network (LAN) and RS-232 interface.

Thanks to the new interface, integrators and users benefit from an even wider range of applications for our PDUs in professional AV environments – with intuitive control, centralised access and high transparency regarding the current operating status.

More flexibility and control for demanding AV installations

The native integration of our Expert Power Control series into the Biamp Project Designer software offers numerous practical advantages:

• Switching and monitoring of individual outputs directly via the user interface
• Integration into existing control solutions
• Real-time display of electrical measurements such as current, voltage and power values
• Suitable for use in media technology environments with complex requirements

The combination of GUDE hardware and Biamp control allows power supplies to be managed centrally while keeping installation and operation efficient. The application scenarios are wide-ranging and can be found in the commercial sector. The focus is on conference rooms, huddle spaces and meeting rooms, but also lecture halls and classrooms in universities and schools.

GUDE expands control options in professional AV environments

With the official integration of our devices into the Biamp platform, the GUDE ecosystem is growing with another central control solution. For system integrators, planners and AV specialists, this means even more freedom in choosing their setup and maximum compatibility for AV projects.
