It all started when Michael Gude received a physics kit as a birthday present in 1972. This awakened the 12-year-old birthday boy’s instinct for research. And so it was that his repeated participation in Jugend Forscht led to a prize at the national level in 1979. After graduating from high school, he studied electrical engineering at the University of Excellence RWTH Aachen. His unquenched inventive instinct led him to found the Gude company while still a student. In the portfolio: Reliable radio-controlled clock systems. Since then, founder and managing director Dr. Michael Gude has expanded the family business into an internationally successful technology supplier. His incentive to this day: to develop and produce the most reliable power and monitoring solutions for demanding AV, IT and KVM experts.
As a successful company, we are always looking for ways to give back to the planet, nature and society. Whether that’s charitable donations, tree planting projects or supporting non-profit organisations.
With this goal in mind, we have been supporting Together for Cinema as a silver sponsor since March 2023. In 2024, we are supporting the project as a gold sponsor. This is a Community Interest Company (CIC) in the UK whose mission is to design and install home cinema rooms in children’s hospices and other appropriate settings. These rooms benefit not only the children and young adults, but also their families, carers, staff and volunteers. This is made possible through charitable collaboration with companies in the AV industry.
