GUDE presents the Expert Power Control 8101-2, a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) that allows the control, energy measurement and monitoring of up to 6 connected consumers in a 19-inch cabinet

Expert Power Control 8101-2 is equipped with a sturdy metal housing and is suitable for horizontal installation in 19-inch cabinets (1 rack unit). The PDU has 6 connections on the rear of the device (IEC C13 Lock). For example, connected devices can be switched off and on again in the event of a fault, either locally or by remote access. The all-pole switching of the outputs ensures a safe application, so that both phase and neutral (L+N) are de-energised.

More control in 19-inch cabinet

The integrated energy meters enable precise measurement of electricity consumption. Two integrated sensor connections allow monitoring of ambient temperature, humidity and air pressure using optionally available sensors. Programmable limit values ensure that event-based switching operations are automatically initiated: System-critical states such as those caused by overtemperature or cable fire ensure that appropriate safety measures are taken at an early stage. In addition, the user receives warning messages if residual currents occur. This allows for preventive maintenance measures even before complications arise.

Easy integration into professional IT environments

In addition to local access, the Expert Power Control 8101-2 can be configured and controlled via a web-based control center. This offers simple and location-independent administration and monitoring of the PDU. Secure communication and authentication is guaranteed thanks to appropriate protocol support. The device can also be accessed via Android or iOS app. In addition, the PDU can be easily integrated into monitoring solutions of common software providers.
The switchable LAN socket is available immediately from the manufacturer and relevant sales partner.
