Smart AC/DC PDU wins coveted AV Awards

The new smart power solution Expert Power Control 8291-2 from Cologne-based manufacturer GUDE Systems has been honored in London with the most prestigious award in the AV industry, the AV Awards.

The switchable power distribution unit (PDU) completely won over the 34-member expert jury from AV Magazine. Every year, the award recognizes outstanding products for the professional AV market in various categories. GUDE’s intelligent PDU for AC and DC applications secured victory in the highly competitive category “Enabling Technology of the Year.”

The Expert Power Control 8291-2 has been specially designed for versatile AV use and, like all GUDE products, is developed and manufactured entirely in Germany. The switchable power strip offers 4 AC and 17 DC outputs. The DC ports are also equipped with comprehensive measurement functions that record values such as current and voltage.
