How Monheim am Rhein provides its citizens with fail-safe outdoor steles and bicycle rental stations

8 steles for outdoor advertising, over 30 bike sharing stations and a popular museum ship. These locations in the City of Monheim am Rhein have one thing in common: they were equipped with intelligent remote maintenance solutions from GUDE Systems as part of a large-scale smart city project.

The initial situation: The urban area of Monheim is to be equipped with outdoor steles and bicycle rental stations in addition to fiber optics and WLAN hotspots. The top priority here is fail-safety and cost-optimized maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
