GUDE introduces 4-fold switching power distribution unit with current and energy measurement

GUDE expands its portfolio of network components with a high-performance PDU series that, thanks to its compact desktop design, can be used in a variety of IT environments, especially in 19-inch cabinets. In addition to monitoring and switching up to four connected loads, the devices feature extensive measurement functionality and two energy meters. The IP power strips are equipped with easy-to-read LED displays and offer the possibility to monitor temperature and relative humidity of the environment thanks to sensor connection. Furthermore, in addition to local access to the device functions, remote control via web interface or mobile device app is possible. The Expert Power Control 1202 is available in three variants, each with socket types for Germany, Switzerland and IEC C13.

Switching

The Expert Power Control 1202 has four load outputs on the front panel. These power ports can be switched individually either by pushbutton on the device, via HTTPS, SNMP or App. By means of programmable switch-on and switch-off sequences, time-delayed switching processes can be executed.
Measurement

Thanks to precise measurement electronics, typical parameters such as current, voltage, phase angle, power factor, frequency, active, apparent and reactive power can be recorded for reliable consumption measurement and demand analysis. In addition, two integrated counters allow energy measurement on the input side.
Monitoring

A sensor port on the Expert Power Control 1202 allows monitoring of ambient temperature and humidity using plug-and-play capable sensors. In addition to energy measurement, real-time monitoring and premature overload and threshold alarms help prevent system critical conditions and downtime.
