The organisation is a CIC (Community Interest Company) whose main mission is to design, fund and install home cinema spaces in children’s hospices and other similar institutions in collaboration with the AV industry. The children and young adults in the institutions are the main beneficiaries of the professional cinema installations. Through extensive collaboration between the AV industry and Together for Cinema, 37 cinema installations worth almost £1m have been realised in 14 years since its inception in 2009. The organisation is also working on a recycling programme to donate obsolete, used or B-goods equipment to good causes.
