Switching function

Expert Power Control 87-1210-18: 20-fold switched and metered IP PDU with IEC C13

The Expert Power Control 87-1210-18 is a network-compatible power distribution unit with 20 power ports on the front. The connected loads can be switched individually via IP  – either through the web interface, SNMP (v1, v2c, v3), or the local push button. And the total power consumption can be monitored, making the PDU a must-have in data centers and AV and IT installations.

The Expert Power Control 87-1210-18 has two integrated energy counters per bank, whereas one counter is resettable. The metering of a wide range of electrical variables enables the user to identify and exploit power-saving potential in the IT environment for every connected individual load. The power ports can be switched separately via a web interface, via SNMP or via the button on the device. SNMPv3, SSL and IPv6 as well as Telnet, Radius and Modbus TCP are supported.
