GUDE Systems, the German specialist for IP-based power distribution, has announced a strategic partnership with the Danish company SKAARHOJ. SKAARHOJ is a leading hardware and software developer of control consoles for live and broadcast applications. The collaboration enables system integrators and broadcast engineers to manage their audiovisual infrastructure more efficiently by combining intelligent power solutions and precise control.

The integration of GUDE Power Distribution Units (PDUs) into SKAARHOJ control systems creates a solution specifically designed for professional broadcast environments such as studios and radio stations. This combination offers tangible benefits:

• Remote monitoring and control of power consumption: television and broadcast technicians can monitor and control the energy consumption and performance of connected equipment in real time via a centralised interface. This reduces manual intervention and increases operational efficiency.

Seamless integration of GUDE power solutions into SKAARHOJ’s control systems

Expert Power Control 8031 or 8045 from GUDE can be integrated into the Reactor or Blue Pill control system from SKAARHOJ, for example. In combination with the Rack Fly Uno programmable control console, this enables centralised management and control of power distribution in broadcast and live production environments. Users can remotely monitor and control the power supply and status of their equipment and reboot systems if required. This integration provides an efficient way to manage and ensure uptime in professional broadcast environments.
