Remotely controllable and measuring power switch with high-inrush relay Remotely switched and metered power control with 12 load outlets. The device enables switching and current measurement of connected devices whose data can be accessed via a TCP/IP network. The power switch can be used in IT infrastructures and especially in 19 inch server racks. For monitoring the environment, combined sensors (temperature, relative humidity and air pressure) can be connected to the two existing RJ45 sensor connections. Thanks to standardised protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, Telnet, RADIUS, MQTT and Modbus TCP, the device can be controlled with a media control system or a server and can be easily integrated into a monitoring software. On the rear of the device are 12 load outputs IEC C13 (max. 10 A), each of which can be switched separately with a switching capacity of 3.68 kW. They are combined into two independent banks with six load outputs each. These are fed by two separate IEC C20 supply lines and allow 2x 16 A or 7500 W to be switched via the unit. This enables the operation of devices with redundant power supplies. Pairwise switching of the outputs is possible, e.g. output 1 of bank 1 simultaneously with output 1 of bank 2. The outputs can be switched event-based by preset sensor thresholds. Current peaks are prevented by automatic latency times of one second between the switching of several outputs. In addition, special high-inrush relays prevent the relay contacts from welding during inrush current peaks by withstanding currents of up to 80 A for short periods. The integrated overvoltage protection (OVP) prevents damage to the device and connected loads (L-N 10 kA). Via bright LED displays the relevant status information and the status of the outputs (on/off) can be read directly on the device. This allows a quick overview of total current, IP addresses, sensor values and error messages. Remote access to the device's web server is possible via an RJ45 network connection. In addition, the power switch can be monitored and controlled while on the move via a mobile device app available free of charge. Furthermore, common security standards are supported (IPv6, SSL, SNMPv3). The warranty period is 24 months. It is possible to extend the warranty period to 3, 4 or 5 years.
